With only a few clicks, you can choose between five separate security levels. In case you start receiving spam, you can start with the lowest level and then slowly increase the level until you stop receiving spam. We use one of the best and most famous email filters available on the market called SpamAssassin. It ‘scans’ the header and the body of each email message that you get and determines a spam score, based on which it either erases a specific email message or allows it to enter your mailbox. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel will also allow you to set up custom filters and either eliminate unasked-for email messages or re-send them to a third-party address like spam@domain.com where you can view them once again afterwards.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you use one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting, you won’t need to worry about spam emails occupying your mailboxes every now and then, as you can resort to the famous SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we offer with each and every semi-dedicated hosting account. Our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel will permit you to activate the filter for any email account with a couple of mouse clicks and you can select one of the 5 safety levels – from very low to very high. The level can be altered at any time if, for example, authentic messages get blocked, or if junk email messages go through and appear in your inbox. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered email messages to be forwarded to a special email account such as spam@your-domain.com and not to be deleted. Thus, you can examine them from time to time to ensure that you haven’t omitted a genuine message.
